A Short Story

One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route.

No problems for the first few stops, a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well.

At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet height, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground.

He glared at the driver and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back.

The driver was five feet three, thin, and basically meek... Naturally,he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it.

The next day the same thing happened -Big John got on again, said "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down.

And the next day, and the one after that, and so forth.
This irritated the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of his size.

Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building program, karate, judo and all that good stuff.

By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; So on the nextMonday, when Big John got on the bus and said, "Big John doesn't pay!"the driver stood up, glared back and screamed, "And why not?"

With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, "Big John has a Bus pass."

Moral of the story: First be sure is there a problem before working hard to solve one.

How many people picked Mishra?

What were the odds that Amit Mishra would make his debut in Mohali? Even, if you ask me. Next question: Who expected him to take a five-for in his first Test at a venue not known to aid spinners? Honestly, comments down all of you who have Mishra down as their Trump Player.

Katrina in Yuvraaj

Katrina's new look in Subhash Ghai's "Yuvraaj" with Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor.

Should Saurav Ganguly retire?

I would ask a question to BCCI, tO The so called selectors, and to the critics of The Ganguly that where u hide when evry time Ganguly comes back in Royal style and contribute a valuable partnership.

Why this discrimination happens only on Ganguly, u can see series of failures for Sachin, Dravid but selectors just close their eye and wait for a good knock from Sachin and Rahulbut why they dont wait for ganguly to give a good knock.

But I am pretty sure that this distingguish bengal tiger would again rise to the expectation of millions with his iron rod determination and take the challange to the rivals.

To me, Ganguly so far has been the best Indian left hander I have seen. Gambhir has potential, but ways to go. The point of this rambling is that Sourav has lost a bit of my respect when he spewed the lava about his teammates and I assume Dhoni when he said changing hairstyles. I gotta think that Dhoni is the reason Ganguly was dropped from the ODI team.

Lastly, we all know at some point TDLK (Tendulkar, Dravid Laxman, Kumble) will all be retiring (I sure hope so) before they get unceremoniously paraded out. I seriously think Kumble is playing his last test series, given that he is giving up runs faster than the speed of ganges.

India should follow Australia's footsteps, have the juniors ready to go (will not happen without TDLK mentoring the juniors) and ease them and have TDLK exit one at a time.
